BERLİN – The ITB Academy has four new webinars that will be offering concentrated knowledge with quick updates in one-hour sessions for tourism managers and other participants. The wide-ranging list of topics in November and December includes wellness in the future, the latest travel trends and valuable information for exhibitors. In January travel industry employees will receive tips on how to conduct sensible and cost-efficient marketing. On Wednesday, 26 November 2014 at 10 a.m. at the webinar entitled ’Wellness in hotels from 2015 to 2020’, participants can find out how wellness hotels can reach their customers in the future. Michael Altewischer, managing director of Wellness-Hotels & Resorts, will shed light on society trends such as the urbanisation and digitisation of our world and will highlight the needs of modern-day tourists in search of wellness. Held in German, this webinar will debate the challenges facing the industry and the latest ideas on wellness hotel trends.
On Wednesday, 10 December 2014, at 10 a.m., at the webinar entitled ’World Travel Monitor® Trends – what lies ahead?’ Rolf Freitag, president and founder of IPK International, will examine this year’s travel trends and will take a look ahead at 2015. Those taking part will receive information on the most important findings of the ITB World Travel Trends Report. At this webinar, which will be held in English, Rolf Freitag will examine the challenges facing the travel industry next year.
On 27 January 2015, in cooperation with DRV Service GmbH, the ITB Academy will be holding a webinar entitled ’Marketing must not be expensive’. Daniel Sebastian Menzel, managing director of Grafenstein Freizeit- und Tourismuswerbung GmbH, will be illustrating how to attract and convince customers and partners with creative ideas and how to market products to specific target groups in cost-efficient ways. The seminar, which will be held in German, addresses proprietors and employees of travel agencies, tour operators and tourism managers.
