Created in 1987, the Bocuse d’Or has become THE international culinary competition not to be missed. Founded by Paul Bocuse, the competition has propelled several young chefs into the limelight, and stirred the imagination of the culinary world.
Just like a sports competition, the Bocuse d’Or identifies the very best talents. Today, the event is a real show, combining culinary tradition with modern trends and developments. This major competition has produced some exceptional gastronomic dishes and contests. Above all, however, the Bocuse d’Or is about fraternity and passion.
These thirty years of culinary excellence and passion will be celebrated at the SIRHA fair at Eurexpo Lyon, on 24 and 25 January 2017. Naturally, it will be an opportunity to pay tribute the creator of this internationally-renowned event and its prestigious winners over the years, including Orjan Johannessen, Thibaut Ruggeri, Serge Vieira and Régis Marcon to name just a few.
